On a whim, I entered an art prize competition in November last year (2022) and forgot about it. This year, I received an email from Art Edit Magazine that my artwork – titled Justice – has been awarded as a finalist and they published it in the March Edition!
Being recognised in this way is incredible, and although I didn’t win, coming as a finalist is a huge achievement that has inspired me to keep going, and keep applying for more art prizes.
